l Joongang Park l
The Joongang Park, where the beauty of nature is kept as it is, is located in Sunae-dong,
Seongnam City. The native trees planted there not hurting hte forest of Mt. Yeongjangsan accom-
modating the Tomb Area of Hansan Yi Clan (Historic Monument of Gyeonggi Province no. 116) have created
superb scenic beauty. A lot of movies, TV dramas and commercials have been filmed here to capture its
outstanding natural beauty, which has attracted many tourists from Japan, Taiwan, etc.

l Yul-dong Park l
Located in Yul-dong, Bundang, this 2,367,316m2 - wide park was opened on August 30, 1999.
It boasts beautiful scenery of intact nature with its lakes, grass and hills.
One can find 3 grass squares, 3 fountains, the Four-Season Flower Garden, rest stops and a
field of reeds here as well as a badminton field, sculpture park, archrey field, bungee jumping facility,
foot acupressure paths, 2 playgrounds for kids, 3 parking lots, etc. As the parking lots total capacity is
no less than 1,000 vehicles, the park attracts many family tourists who want a weekend trip with their own cars. |
l Heemang Grand Park l
The 123,194m2 - wide Heemang Grand Park, located in Sinheung-dong, Sudeong-gu, was an
amusement park until remodeled into a neighborhood park in 1997. Its location in the city
center offers a chance to look the entire city at a glance. Fountains, lakes, and grassplots are well
made. This park also accommodates a variety of facilities - fields for tennis, badminton and gate ball,
foot acupressure path, snack kiosk, restroom, pavilion, rest stops, outdoor stage, etc. Women with
suckling babies can breastfeed with comfort in the nursing rooms and borrow baby carriages here. |
l Hwangsong Park l
Located in Geumgwang-dong and Sang-deawon-dong, Jungwon-gu, this park is equipped with soccer, baskball,
volleyball, tennis, badminton, gate ball, park volleyball fields, loved by many sports fans.
As located near Nambansanseong Mountain Fortress, it is frequented by those who want to climb a mountain.
Especially, the mountain path from the park to the south gate of the fortress is where one can find a variety of plants,
trees, and wildflowers growing in the dense forest. |
